The Decalogue can enable your organization to achieve its maximum potential, and continue growing from there. Founded on a profound understanding of the general laws that govern company dynamics, it is equipped with powerful logical tools to guide a company in consistently achieving its goal. PHASE ONE: ANALYSIS (7-8 days in three-four weeks)
All the ‘symptoms’ or undesirable effects your organization is currently experiencing are interconnected. What is their root cause? Your Undesirable Effects are meticulously gathered and analyzed using cause and effect logic. The Core Conflict of the organization is verbalized and the Current Reality Tree is built. A logical ‘snapshot’ of the organization and what is blocking it from further growth is now shared and visible.
PHASE TWO: DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOLUTION AND THE STRATEGIC PLAN (5-6 days in two-three weeks)
What, instead, is the desired reality? What is the ultimate goal of the organization? What is the correct strategy and which set of actions are needed to create that desired reality? The transition from how an organization is today to what we would like it to be is blocked by a series of assumptions, a powerful set of limiting beliefs that have to be surfaced and challenged. Intelligent Management works with the top management to invalidate these assumptions by identifying a set of correct solutions (injections). These solutions form the basis of a powerful logical tool, the Future Reality Tree, which is used to build a logical and complete path to the desired reality, where the goal is achieved and the fundamental needs of the organization are satisfied.
PHASE THREE: EXECUTION (8-10 days in three-four weeks)
Every solution (injection) in the Future Reality Tree is a project in its own right. The Decalogue approach plans and executes these projects as systems, identifying all the obstacles to be overcome (actions), the resources involved, and a reasonable budget and timeframe. Each project is scheduled at finite capacity using our proprietary software, Independence. Projects are managed using the Buffer Management technique, a systemic approach that guarantees completion on time and within budget. An organization is a system and is made up of processes. In the DecalogueÔ methodology every process is mapped out using deployment flowcharts. This identifies interdependencies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. No process is ever performed in an identical way twice: it is subject to variation. Statistical Process Control is used to reduce variation in the system and consistently improve performance.
PHASE FOUR: COACHING AND MENTORING
Now that the strategy and actions are being implemented, Intelligent Management provides continuous support to the decision-making process, providing further training, mentoring and coaching to key individuals. Continuous assessment and management of the projects is made possible by identifying the correct measurement units and feedback mechanisms. Modifications to the organizational structure to accommodate and facilitate the implementation of the strategy can be made as necessary. The length of this phase is connected with the projects being developed. |
